Many display problems can be corrected by updating the video drivers for your video display card. See to view your Display Properties below. Make sure the Show icons using all possible colors check-box is selected. If the PhotoSuite 4 icon on your desktop looks black and white, you can correct this in the in the Display Properties dialog. If you have the Animate windows, menus and lists check-box selected, deselect it. To correct this, in the Display Properties dialog, click the Effects tab. As you scroll through the drop-down list, the color returns to normal. Some drop-down lists in PhotoSuite 4 may appear gray when first opened. This will ensure that you are able to see the maximum viewing area and all the PhotoSuite 4 User Interface. Change your screen resolution to something higher than 800 by 600 pixels or shut down all the unnecessary bars/panels.
If you run PhotoSuite 4 in 800 by 600 pixels, any Windows bars/panels (other than the Windows Task bar) will cause the PhotoSuite 4 application window to be too small and not display the PhotoSuite 4 User Interface correctly. If necessary, follow any further instructions. In the desktop area box, move the slider to at least 800 by 600 pixels. In the Color palette box, select High Color (16-bit) or higher. In the Display Properties dialog, click the Settings tab. A minimum resolution of 800 by 600 pixels is required. The optimum setting to run PhotoSuite 4 is 24-bit color.
